So, today I had to drive out to P-Town to pick up my brothers car from the body shop during work. I grabbed the keys to an F-250 and drug a co-worker along and we headed on our way. We got off Rt. 80 and the body shop was right around the corner from Horseless Carriage. As we were driving by, we saw multiple gleaming shiny vehiclemobiles sitting inside an open trailer. Being the shameless curious one that I am, we pulled over and got out to further inspect. The truck had a '68 Camaro RS/SS, Ferrari F430, and two other vehicles. We drooled over them for a moment when from behind us, a truck moved out of the way to reveal four glorious vehicles parked on the sidewalk in front of the building. They were all brand new. They were on their way to a dealership. They were just picked up at the port off a ship from Italy. They were; a bright red Ferrari F430 Spider F1, a Black F430 Spider, a silver F430 Spider F1, and a bright red 599GTB. Words cant really describe just how amazing those cars look in person, especially outside with the sun shining off them.
If this wasnt a trousergasm in and of itself, the next thing that happened was. An old guy came out to see what we were doing, and upon realizing we were checking the cars out, he invited us inside :D Words cant describe just how insane the cars were that were inside that place. There were four brand new Maseratis, Bentleys, every Ferrari you could name, F430s, 599GTBs, 328s, everything, a '68 Mustang convertible, a Shelby Mustang, old Corvette convertible, an early '60's Mack truck, and the original car from The Monkees TV show. There was also a collection of old military vehicles there, enough to probably take over New Jersey lol Plus a ton of cars under covers that we didnt get to look at. We talked to the guy for about an hour about the place and the cars and I asked him if he ever got to drive any of them and he was like "yea, all the time, I drive them around and park them in here". So I asked him how the Ferraris felt sitting in them and he was like "why dont you go find out for yourself". I didnt need any further encouragement lol I ran right towards that bright red F430 Spider F1 out front and jumped inside :D Man, that car must be a BLAST to drive. The seats are very comfortable and the interior layout is great. The paddle shifters on the steering wheel are pretty cool too. I thanked the guy when I left and I'm still grinning :D
