But I gotta tell ya...I cannot wait for the day when I no longer have to wait to pull onto the Pulaski Skyway, because a bunch of N Jersey scumbags cannot get over a lane to let people in...or better yet, why the hell are they even on the road at 3AM? Gotta make a crack run? And I can't wait for the day when I no longer have some UFO [unidentified foreign object] driving up my ass in a livery cab, limo, or hack, hauling some self important yuppie jerkoff to Newark Airport. And I can't wait for the day when I no longer see more f'n NY plates than NJ plates on the cars around me...I can't wait to get that Pennsyltucky job, and be able to hang out with my South Jersey friends in the Trenton area on a regular basis!

Yeah that sucks. Atleast you don't have to deal with all the drunk drivers leaving the bars around my house when I go back to work from lunch around 12-2 am. 45 mph means 45....not 30. I hate those idiots.

hate to break it to you but those idiots you are referring to are ex. nyers who moved to NJ and don't know how to merge.

most true Jerseyans always blow buy cars with PA plates because they are always in the fast lane doing the exact posted speed limit or well below. Yes the far left lane is a fast or passing lane it doesn't mean sit there and hold up traffic, maybe someone riding close behind you means move over or go faster!!!
Oh yeah what up with the stupid practice of putting on hazzard lights when it's rains ?? I only see cars with PA plates doing this. Can't drive in bad weather stay at home!

Try getting through the Flemington or Somerville circle with some of these people. "Rubbin is Racin", indeed.

So if the north has jerks from NY and south has ricers, that mean Central Jersey FTW!

hate to be the bearer of bad news, but NYers say the same about NJers. my car has NY tags but i usually add to the stereotype.

i'll tell you this much, drive farther into NY up the thruway and tell me its as much of a pain in the rear than the turnpike or GSP.

Just to make you appreciate where you live now, take a road trip to this elevated design of what it must be like to drive in HELL. Don't get a flat tire on it, because it would be easier to just jump of the bridge and know you'll die in a few seconds rather than wait the few minutes it will take to start changing your tire, or better yet getting rear ended. If you made it to the end, get off in Hoboken and check out the sights. If you drove thru this town with your eyes closed, you will have missed NOTHING. It looks like a war zone. Now when you return home, kiss the ground and hope that you NEVER will EVER have to go back there again! :werd:

Ed,
I've been driving the Pulaski Flyway 500 for the last 19 years, at least 5 days a week. And by the grace of God I've never been in an accident, only broke down once [was at 4 am in the morning, and luckily it was just a blown heater hose that I was able to repair], and I'll admit to leaving work @ 11 PM w/ 4 other guys who I raced at speeds over 100 MPH over the Skyway. W/O incident. I GOTTA be one of the luckiest mofos who ever took that POS road!

Where are you from? That's the way NY drivers are, both in NJ and CT (i witnessed it in CT going to / coming home from MA for christmas)

ive driven the entire length of the thruway, and while its not a sunday drive, ill take that over the pike any day. there are asshats on any road you go on. around albany the thruway gets shyty, but after that when it turns to just I87, its a nice easy rural drive.

Living in both states for a while I agree. A lot of PA people don't abide by the "the left lane is for passing" rule. It drives me nuts.:-x:-x:-x:-x

Sounds like you are talking more about the Northeast,Nj north west just has back roads and single doted yellows to pass those slow people. North west jersey still has the win.

So because you're traveling south that makes it south jersey? Sooooo I guess if I'm in the northwest part of the state and I have to go south to Newark that means Newark is part of south jersey? Please. I guess the schooling in central NJ really isn't that good  Don't associate the ******** city of Trenton with south jersey, we have another crappy cities to deal with.

Dood, you are really making an ant hill into a pyramid...NO, if you are in the N west part of NJ and have to go to Newark it doesn't mean that Newark is in S Jersey. But when you are in CENTRAL NJ, and you head SOUTH to Trenton, what else can that mean but Trenton is in S Jersey? It ain't in the Eastern West part of NJ...it ain't in Pennsyltucky...it is in SOOOOOOOOOOUTH JERSEY!!!

My few times driving to North Jersey consisted of, everyone flooring their cars than slaming their brakes for reasons i can't comprehend.

So many places though are bad... Washington Twp everyone pulls out in front of you or blows stop signs like they don't exist. In Glassboro its running red lights and flying through parking lots.... and in my hometown the famous one is pulling out in front of you and completely dying. In DE its clearly not knowing how to drive, and the PA people think the passing lane is for driving slow as hell. I think every area has their own speciality though.

My job is near the skyway and we hear accidents just about every night on there. One night a drunk guy crashed and fell in the river. Somehow he survived. I hear they're supposed to be closing the skyway for repairs soon.
