Actually, there have been rumors that the idea of remaking Bullitt has been tossed around. All these remakes just show there's no originality left in Hollywood. I can't understand why they would take a classic film and remake it. The new one will never live up. What Hollywood should do is start remaking the B movies. Many of those movies had good plots, they just didn't have the budgets to make the films good. And the general public has no clue those movies ever existed, so no one would even know they're remakes.
