Make sure UBG sees this.....this is "his" central jersey.
In the article it said they weren't planning on pressing charges. I can see not pressing charges if they got caught stealing a pack of gum from 7-11, but they broke into someones home and stole gifts. That's just plain wrong.

in lieu of putting them in a juvenile detention center, i would say put them in some sort of 'scared straight' program. kids that age are still very impressionable and maybe not too old to get them back on the right track. otherwise they'll just think that they can get away with anything.

that stuff works. Kept me out of jail for a few years at least  seriously though, I had to go through one when I was living in NYC and let me tell you, having to spend a few hours in Rikers Island in a big room with murderers and armed robbers that are yelling at you and making you give them your shoes when you're 14 will scare the living hell out of you.

I'm curious how a 9 and 5 year old figured out how to use a credit card on a lock to get it open. Either mommy and daddy are showing them grownup movies, or big brother Billy is teaching them the trade young

They were probably transplants...haha :)
The bottom line is many parents these days just don't care, and they don't hold their kids accountable for anything. We were having dinner at Carrabbas last night, and there was a toddler and a 3 or 4 year old running around uncontrolably in circles for a good 10 mintutes, and the parents were just sitting there watching them. 2 waitors with trays full of hot food almost ran them over, and other people sitting around us were becoming visibly disturbed. I would've been mortified if they were my kids.

I agree. Charge them or atleast scare them and throw them in jail for a little bit.

I have been involved in a couple of scared straight programs, its a 50/50
chance. If the kid is f-ed up its not going to change them. Its starts with the parents. If they dont give a crap and not force good traits it will be more job security for me.
Don't worry these litle basturds might get off now, but Ill see them before I
retire!!!!!!!!
