i thought some of you guys may find this interesting. it is certainly a big money heads up series, but being all motor i bet it makes for some fun races to watch. http://www.nashootout.com/

i am going to add the schedule to our on site events calendar. hopefully i can manage to make it out to a few events as a spectator.

"2007 N/A Shootout's
Final Points Standings
Harshman Auto PRO N/A

1. Henry Jackson"

Thats great to see he's still racing, and taking first place for the year. I was wandering where he went after he stopped showing up at the Q8 races.

Looks like fun and I'm hoping to make at least one of them this year.

I want to run the index class. I'm shooting for maple grove on july 13th. in april i'm doing the heads and cam on the T/A so I might have a viable contender

contender for what? a different index class?

i hope you don't think that heads and cam on a pump gs 350 has a snow ball's chance in hell of even qualifying, much less winning.

yea but you have to join to race its club racing - or did i miss something - if you are a registered member of the ET group and only go to one event its a waste of your cash -- i do not think you can just show up like a regular day

that was discussed on one of the other forums. apparently you have to join to particpate in teh points championship only. if you decide to come out to one event you don't have to pay the membership fee. one of the guys who runs it said that part of the rules explantion was jsut poorly written and he was going to get it fixed to be more clear.

Hey guy's I'm new here on this site but saw this post just wanted to tell you I have run this series for a few years now. Rich that runs it is one of us a racer. He does a really great job and tries real hard. There is an index class that is called AMI and any N/A car can run in it. With fuel prices the way they are I know I am aiming at running a little closer to home this year. He has two races at Cecil and one at MG. Most of his stuff is close for most of us. It is a great series to run or come check out. It has a great turnout of cars too. Thanks Bob
