Came home from work to see my late xmas present to myself on the steps.

Bought from someone on thirdgen.org who went with dyno-don's headers. Have to get them used since SLP doesn't sell them anymore. jerks.

Has the typical "clearance" done for the steering and starter instead of replacing the mounts to get the motor to the right height again. So my old man is going to take them to his work, straighten them, then I'll recoat them.

good thing is I dont have to get the cat adapter since its already welded on. I may straight pipe my old cat instead of using the cutout. Not sure yet, or get a new functional cat, but the cutout has a bung welded in that i can use for a wideband probably. Just need to get some bolts and gaskets.

That doesnt always work. In my 91 I had to "move" the steering column about 3/8" to get them to clear and they are still really close.

UPDATE:

Got the drivers side dents pulled, refilled with weld, and smoothed out pretty decent and ready to be recoated. There's a little grinding to do on the passenger side where it was dented pretty good for the starter. Ill have pics of that side when its done.
