Im thinking about selling my 92 Camaro. I really wan tto do this other project Ive been looking at for years but a chance came up to buy the kit for a really cheap price. Its a 66 Cobra coupe from street beasts. The problem is I need to sell my car and part out all the stuff i have for that car. I have a ton of stuff for it. Right now the camaro is a roller no engine or trans. I only have a few days to make the descision and make a deposit on the kit. http://www.streetbeasts.com/product_images/model_image-_image-374.jpg

As long as you dont get that goofy looking one in that picture, go wiht the cobra. I absolutely with every fiber in my body hate that look, thats for lazy people who cant stan a little wind in their hair. go all out and go factory five.

I looked into factory five and they only offer the car with the option to put ford running gear from a 80-90 mustang. The street beasts one is set up to run any engine trans package.

I looked into their company, those cars chassis are less then satisfying compared to the factory five. My friend looked into them too, and ill jsut say this, they are cheaper, but, you get what you pay for. so what if you gotta run ford gear, thats what a Cobra ran. In my community, bringing a car like that witha chevy engine in it to one of our gatherings would be snubbed. I know there are Cheetah kit cars outthere, get one of those, you dont se too many ofthem and they ran 377ci sbc in them.

The reason Im looking at Street Beasts is I got offered a chance to be a feild rep for the north east area. Which means they were offering me a Cobra kit at a discount of over $7000 off to be there feild rep. As well each time I refer a person to street beast and they buy a kit I will make a comission on the sale. My obligations would be when the car is complete is to take it to local shows and answer questions about the car and the company.

Well after cruching numbers and thinking. I decided I would pass the cobra kit up for now. I have almost everything I need to complete my Camaro and for me to sell it the way it is now I would not be able to get even close to the amount I put out for it now. Im just going to hold off and complete the Camaro and see what happens down the road. Thanks for input guys.
