You have to buy the specified relay, and splice it into the power/ground wires for the 3rd brakelight as shown in the pic. Just make sure you get the right wire into the right connections (85 and 86) on the relay.

looks like he just uses a standard relay. Like the ones you get in fog light and fuel pump kits

I put an SS spoiler on my 95z I had the the abs light come on to. I just went out to pepboys and got a standard 12v automotive relay and spliced it in to the power and ground like on shoebox's site and it care of the problem. Good Luck.

finally got around to gettin a relay, installed it and it popped the fuse for the brake lights. took it apart and tried again, new fuse, popped it again. figured i would try a 25 fuse (was a 20) and all looked well until the wires melted where the relay was tapped in! why cant anything be easy? i put it all back the way it was cuz i ran outa fuses, ill save this project for another day lol

That's why switching to a larger size fuse doesn't solve problems.....
Are you sure you wired up the relay correctly?

alright! finally got it to work, tried a different relay and spliced it in at a different point and no more ABS INOP light. its annoying hearing the relay click every time u hit and release the brakes, but i guess ill get used to it lol

You could probably (carefully) wrap some type of insulation around it if it bothers you that much.
