hey guys atco raceway opens feb 29th. i just thought id ask who is interested in going? thought maybe i could meet a few of you guys there. well let me know.:toast:

yea, after all the polishing going on, you would want to wait a month for the break in of the track... i went on opening day once and couldn't hook...

I think it was like four years ago. It was the red fox body. I think it was opening day, it was definitely early January.

It was actually orange with a black top....well was anyways. I got to see the aftermath.

I might hold off until April when it warms up, not sure. I want to go Friday but that track will be a traction nightmare the first few weeks.

I would wait and see if they are def going to open this weekend. I talked to Jamie from Atco last night and he said they were waiting on a machine that was suppose to come last night.... and there were a few other factors that were going to determine if they were opening or not this weekend....i was only half listening though.

LOL thats not very nice haha, I'm running the 14 as long as I have a new rear and trans. and whilst the trans is out I might as well put a verter in, and a bump stick while the motors tilted back...and while the trans in out i might just put in some shorties, I'm done F'n around with trying for 14s, I got a real goal this season.

on a similar note thats why I ended up not getting the parts I wanted for the T/A, but theres another car sleeping in the weeds that might come to life by next week.

It sucks. I have the money to buy headers and cat-back for the vette. I know I can't touch it though. I can't wait to finally have my own place.

HAHAHAHAHA wow, so whos racing friday...I'm running the T/A open headers with 10in slicks....who wants to see me blow my 10 bolt frag style? (J/K of coarse...I have no intentions of blowing the car apart)

i bet on 10 inch slicks if you launched right you wouldnt break the rear, you need power with a sticky tire to do it...unless you do it intentionally.

I apologize for not having my car ready for the track this friday...I take pride in the work I'm doing, I'm not throwing together some bastardized concoction of parts and hoping it magically produces a faster time slip.

hey every one is entitled to they're opinion, but i never talked about how fast my car was, just how to make it faster, nor do I think breaking stuff is cool, I'd just rather joke about it then be all stress out. ***** happens, I'm not gonna stress out about it, just fixing it and poke fun.
