The plane with fly because.....the thrust of the engines DO play a part on the ground the thrust acts on the air. if it was a car is would be different, it would go any where

I don't even understand how this is even a question? the plane WILL fly, the wheels have no effect on the ground velocity so therefor making the conveyor a null concept
i always said it would fly. we should go back to the old post and see who claimed it wouldnt and then beat them over the head... or just belittle them a lot
edit: and btw, i dont have cable here so you guys gotta keep me updated

I figured a Jet plane would take off regardless, wasn't to sure about the prop plane but I was pleasantly surprised.

of course it would.. a damn prop worked, why wouldn't a jet?
same concept as why a jet car doesnt have to do a burnout to make a 300 mph 1/4 mile pass, they put their power to the AIR (thrust) not the ground (like a car or a human), which means it doesn't matter what the ground is doing underneath of it, the thrust will push the plane through the air and it'll take off.

y not? a jet plane works on the same concept. what bout a sea plane? those dont have a solid run way
