Anyone can post one picture of their Camaro or Firebird in this thread.

We ask that you include at least your first name and a short paragraph describing the mods done to the car and/or a short story about the car as well.

At the last week of the month we will post a poll that will last for one week (7 days) and the winner will get to spend the following month showcased on the home page of the site. Past winners will not be eligible to win again for 12 months.

All submitted pictures should be a minimum size of 640 x 480, as this is the size of the image that will be posted on the home page. If you aren't sure of the size, post it up the largest image you have (within reason).

Lets get those submissions in!

My name is Matt Westerfield I have a 1992 Firebird V6,auto 4spd, CAI, Headers, Flowmaster 80 series cat back, mainly a stock car. I recieved the car from my family for my 16th birthday. The car was my uncles, he got a new car and didnt want the car anymore so I was handed down the keys to a very nice F-body. Car has a 91 formula 5.7L cowl hood.

My name is John Greco and this is my 2002 Pontiac Trans Am Firehawk. It is production #144. I purchased the car in early October 2004 after a lifetime of wanting a Trans Am. The car was completely stock, except for having a remote starter and undetectable radar system installed by the original owner. The car was ordered with the base Firehawk package which, along with 20 extra hp, includes these options:

-Composite hood w/ functional cold air induction scoops
-Hood mounted heat extractors
-17"x9" five-spoke painted aluminum wheels
-P275/40ZR17 Firestone Firehawk SZ 50 tires
-Performance stainless steel exhaust system w/ twin dual tips
-Upgraded suspension components
-Firehawk center console plaque and key fobs
-Firehawk front fascia badge

I tend to be a purist when it comes to cars, so I'm not really big on mods. However, I've done some basic mods, which include an SLP Loud Mouth 2 exhaust, SLP sub-frame connectors, BMR strut tower brace, SLP air lid and smooth bellows.

My name is Ed Kozinski and this is my 1991 FORMULA 350. There were only 1,198 made with the L98 Option. It is currently a SHOWCAR(which is also my vanity plate)but it does win its fair share of PONTIAC DAY racing classes at Raceway Park and a Best of Show now and then. At the 2007 FBody Nationals it was voted BEST 3rd Gen FIREBIRD. It was featured in High-Performance Magazine because all of the mods were BOLT-ON. Most of the mods installed are from SLP/ Edlebrock/ BORLA/ Hypertech and MSD. The Formula was bought in 1993 with 21,000 miles and street driven for 3 years after that. Mostly stock exterior except for HTF '91-92 GTA Tail Lamps and '93 Nose Bird. It now has 58,000 miles and spends most of its time garaged under a woolen car cover!

Owner: Ben
Car: 1995 Camaro Z28
Mods: Really too many to list. Basics; Fully forged 383, LT1, Fully ported AFR 180 heads, Custom Diamond pistons, Lunati sledgehammer crank, Oliver Billet Rods, FMIC, ATI D1SC, Snow Performance Meth injection, Hooker LT, Hooker Y-pipe, Borla Cat back, Tuned by PCM's for less. 614 RWHP, 555 RWTQ

History: I am the 3rd owner of the vehicle. I purchased it bone stock on the 28th of October 1999, and since I have slowly dumped a massive fortune into the car (latest estimate is more than $60,000 and growing) with the different mods, and combo's I have had over the years. The biggest mods really started happening after porting the stock heads and matching them up with a CC306 cam back in 2001. The performance shop I had do the work in Detroit nicked a cam bearing and basically let me drive the car with pieces of the cam running through the motor (it was not a pretty sight). I then ended up with my 383. After running around N/A on the 383, I felt it was time for some big power gains that I wanted to achieve with boost. I then pulled the fairly new (only 8,000 miles at that point) 383 back out, and had a shop in south Jersey set the motor up for the boost. Once everything was back together, and I got all the bugs worked out from the big changes with the motor and the supercharger I finally achieved what few car enthusiests ever do with their modded cars (completion). I couldn't be happier with the car as it sits. I am at the point where I feel it no longer neccisary to look for future mods, or things that need upgrading. It was the first car I ever bought, and I would die before I would ever sell it.

This amazing car is my 1994 Chevrolet Camaro. It is powered by the small and powerfull, yet often looked down upon, 3.4L V6 SFI engine. No need to manually row through the gears when you have the option of the 4spd OD automatic transmission, with 2nd gear start capability. With an OEM curb weight of 3440 lbs, this particular camaro has had the pleasure of some weight reduction in order to drop it below the 3000 lb mark. The alloy 16" rims with directional sport tires give great traction and feel for the road. In this ttop model, I can get tons of fresh air while cruising down the strip. This car is the ultimate head turner.

I'll bet if you put in a little elbow grease and about $28,537 you'll have a REALLY NICE CAMARO! :werddance:

I bought this car from a friend as a total wreck back in 2003 when I was a senior in HS. I was currently working at an auto body shop and spent many nights and weekends fixing the driver side suspension damage and fender as well as prepping the whole car for a repaint. The car was daily driven for about 3 years and is now a garage king. The car has new factory L98 heads, AC/smog/delete, almost full bolt ons, upgraded suspension components, Hooker Super Comp long tube headers, mufflex ORY, 3" magnaflow cat-back, 3.42 posi 10 bolt rear, 17x9 Miglia wheels, fiberglass SS hood, and 4th gen charcoal/gray cloth seats. The suspension will get finished up this spring and I have a few more appearance modifications planned for the near future as well as a future plan for a 400sbc and T56.

I got the car in 2006 for Christmas while I was stationed in Okinawa, Japan. My parents knew I always wanted a Camaro and couldn't pass up the perfect opportunity. My stepfather had the car tuned and returned to perfect running condition and was told by his mechanic that the engine has had work done to it. I know for a fact that I got it with a Morosso cold air intake and Flowmaster cat-back. Since I have owned it I have installed the C6 Z06 wheels, g-force kdw, Eibach springs, Bilstein struts, B&M Transpak shift kit, B&M transmission cooler, and currently have SLP 3.73 rear gear waiting to be installed.

My name is Joe and this is my 1992 camaro rs. It has many mods and not much is factory. It has a 355 cu in motor and a th400 tbraked trans and a ford 9 inch rear. The car has been at many car shows winning multiple awards at various shows including Best of Show at the fbody nats in 2007 and is also pretty quick on the strip laying down low 10 sec passes on pump gas with nitrous.

This car was originally bought in 1993 with 11000 miles on it by my mother and was a daily driver until 1999 when I took it over with 38000 on the clock, presently it has 49000 on the odometer.
