....and already put an offer in on it. :w00t:
We are hopefully signing the contract tomorrow, and we have set a tentative closing date of April 30.
It's a 4 bedroom, 2 full bath Cape with a huge kitchen and master bedroom.
Here's some pics if you want to see it: http://www.njfboa.org/JustinImages/Homes/Beacon
It will certainly put a big dent in our spending money, but we're excited!

Which one? There are two.....One is a mudroom in the back, and the other is the front bedroom/office.

Looks good Justin! I take it this is still in Ewing since I have no idea where Beacon AVe is? Inside looks really nice, not paintwork or anything needed. What about the plumbing and stuff? Not a fixer-upper?

Yes, it's still in Ewing. I guess only locals would understand the DOT (NJ Department of Transportation) reference.
It does need a little bit of cosmetic work, but not much. As far as we know there is no major work to be done. We haven't had the inspection done yet though.

I was wondering if that might be in the neighborhood where my grandmother's house was. But she was farther down off of Parkway. You can take a job at DOT now and walk to work!

Congrats Justin. You'll be able to sing the money woes with the rest of us, dreaming about the day the car may actually move under its own power.

Until you are out of attorney review (minimum of 3 days after contract is signed by all parties involved - having signed the contract is NOT the same as being under contract) date you can get out of the transaction. There are other ways to get out of the contract even after you are fully under contract if necessary.
So feel free to still look at other houses :)

As for the "green room" I thought I saw 2 different rooms with the same color. How about I say that I like them both. I actually like the color more or less. It's pretty spiffy!! :) Good luck with everything.
