FWIW, on my DD I've run the following in this order:
Eagle LS
Eagle RS-A
Eagle GS-C
Eagle F1-GS
BFG KDWS
BFG KDW
BFG KDWS

The BFG KDWS tires (in my opinion) are the best all around.

I just put on a set of Cooper's newest all season tire on my 1995 Grand Am GT 6 cyl, the CS4 Touring, and it is an excellent riding tire, and great rain tire. Go for the BEST WET TRACTION tire you can find, because with the A S S end of these cars being so touchy on wet surfaces, especially on turns:rofl:, you need a HIGHLY RATED WET TRACTION tire. Dry traction with these cars is not really a problem, but for a DD you need superior ALL season rubber! :nod:

The BFG KDWS tires (in my opinion) are the best all around.

I have those on my car, the new tread (NT) design looks cool as hell and is surprisingly good in the rain. I would recommend them, though i do believe its a softer tire so tread-wear may not be so good.
Forget snow driving.... buy a 4x4 beater

I have BFG KDW on the rear of the iroc and I like them a lot. They have been good in both dry and wet conditions.

BFG RADIAL T/A's, i had the older style of them on my car and they changed the tread a tiny bit, much better in the rain, also a ton of tread in general, plus you can't beat the price

from May to November, I run the new design Firestone Wide Oval (the ones made in Japan). fantastic ride, dry & wet grip is unbeatable for the price, and the treadwear rating is 400 !

from November to May, I run Avon 550 M/S -- same comments as above, though the performance is just a little less (due to the softer sidewall).

I had great luck with Fusion ZRi's on my old Lumina. Great wet/dry traction, and they did pretty well in the snow too.

On my Camaro, I've had Bridgestone Potenzas (16's), Sumitumo HTR Series (17's) and Michelin Pilot SP2's (18's)

The Bridgestone Potenzas were a very good tire, had great grip for an all season tire. Never any issues in the rain or snow, and they had minimal to no road noise. Then when I went up a size in wheels I went with the Sumitumo HTR Series tires and asides from the road noise their road manners were pretty good and had a good long life on my car. Now on my 18's I have Michelin Pilot PS2's which are a very expensive and well regarded summer tire and so far the road noise is good and they have great handling characteristics. They are summer tires that don't really like the cold to much though.

on the camaro i've run:

Eagle GS-C (2 sets) (decent all around)
Kumho 711 (2 sets) (longest lasting, worst hydroplaning resistance)
Hankook Ventus K104 (worst wet traction)
Sumitomo HTR (decent tire, but no curb protector, so i would never buy these again)
Falken Azenis RT-615 (God-sent)

the best tires of these are by far the falkens, but they aren't a snow tire. they were the best dry, and wet tires. best hydroplaning resistance. definitely the best looking, and with a damn good price. check out vulcantire.com for sizing. i promise you its hard to beat this summer tire for the price

edit: by the way, i can damn near deadhook on the street with the falkens on my heads/cam 4.10 rear LS1 launching from about 2500. they are phenominal
