A couple of days ago I won a really swanky AMC "Bobby Allison edition" racing jacket off E bay, and I was all pumped up to be sporting it. Well, I got it today, and the dayum thing doesn't really fit me too well. It's an XL, and I have other racing jackets that are XL and they fit me fine. This one is kinda tight in the gut, which is my own fault for being fat. But it is also tight in the sholders and arm "cannon" areas. Now, I'd be willing to try and lose some gut, but wtf about the arms and sholders? If anything, I'd wanna get bigger in those areas! Oh well, guess it'll be a display piece at car shows, or maybe I'll put it back up on E bay. :(
Don't wanna have the "FAT GUY IN A 'LIL COAT SYNDROME!!!"

What you're finding out is that clothes(pants/shirts/Jackets)do not conform to the same standards across the board. If I try on a pair of "DOCKER" style pants in XL, I could find that if there were four different brands, they would all fit differently:rofl:. Same with Jackets. You could buy a Racing Champions Brand jacket in a LARGE, and it would fit if you took an XL(I know because I tried one on at a car show). Yet there are other brands that I can't even get the zipper to catch, and they are marked XL. Moral of this story, don't buy clothes on Ebay!

i come up with the same problems UBG...i have two shirts, the exact size, but one fits me better than the other...it all depends on the designer and the material used...
