So I was in this league at work. Let me just say it was a cluster**** from the beginning.
We were all supposed to put in $25 at the start, before the draft. NO ONE did. No talk of $$ really went on until the end(I'll get to that).
The girl that set it up apparently forgot to set up the playoff format. So basically there was no playoffs.
The fantasy season ran until the end of the ACTUAL football season which NO fantasy league does. The person that should have one went 16-0 but lost in the last week of the NFL season which is BS. He lost because the winner(who he didn't even face directly) score more point against another opponent(again on the LAST week of the NFL season where no big stars play). The commissioner, who ended up winning, told the 16-0 guy(before the last week of the season) that there was no way she could collect $$ from people since the league was so screwed up. It turns out after she won she asked everyone to buck up.
Now, it's a big whopping $25 but it's the point. It was unorganized from the beginning and no one discussed money until the end, I pretty much stopped playing.
Am I wrong for raising a stink? No $$ up front, no discussion of said $$$ until the end, a SCREWED up playoff format etc...
Now I have her wanna-be boyfriend at work emailing me saying I have no balls and I better pay up or else  I'm not even looking to get into a brawl with this pill popping loser, it's not worth my job. Part of me wants to give up the $$ to just end the drama, part of me wants to stand my ground on principle. A few others agree with me but aren't saying much.
Would you guys withhold the $$ due to the reasons listed above or just give in and end the drama?
This reminded me why I don't get involved with $$ and fantasy sports unless it's a well organized situation.
I also wanted to say it's not about the $$, it's $25 for crying out loud, I probably have that much in change between my car seats, lol. It's the principle of the thing.
