i thought it was OK but i wouldn't watch it when it became a series it just doesn't have the pizzazzz the old one had i'll prob watch it if the hoff is in it or if they bring back the the 3rd Gen K.I.T.T in it!!

I think they should have taken an old KITT and blown it up, and then rebuilt a new one using a 2002 WS6 T/A with red LEDS in the hood scoops. Then all would be right in the world.

I only caught half of it as it was on against a new Family Guy AND a new American Dad. The half I saw...predictably corny. I can't buy Val Kilmer as the voice of K.I.T.T. And the graveside cameo of The Hoff...Oh, boo freakin' hoo. "I'm your father." Riiiiiiiiiight.

Thankfully, my Native-American friend Wife (Pronounced Wee-fay) hooked me up with Season Three for Christmas, so I'm just working my way through the last few episodes I have of the REAL Knight Rider! :mrgreen:

I saw it also it was a bit corny, and it was just one big ford commercial. They really screwed it up with that stupidity. Every car on the road was Ford except for the old GMC used by the bad guys that got wrecked against kitt.

yup; i just bought season 1 on DVD. Once i get finished those episodes i will be buying 2 thru 4 (i also want to get the Airwolf series). The origionals are so much better it doesn't even need to be said. I hate when they try to revive a dead series to make more money and then kill it. The move wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. I mean; i would watch it (i watch Terminator: The Sarah Conor Chronicles). But a mustang?; they might as well have just made it a soop'd up Civic. That would be like remaking the A-Team and havin them drive around in a Honda Odyssey; "I pitty the fool who doesn't drive around in a LEV, Sucka!!". lol.
