Just picked up my hood today and I am very happy with it. Its fits relatively well without adjustments but needs to be moved to the right a little to even out the gaps but ill let my paint and body work guy do that in about a week or two. not sure about forum rules so i wont post where I got it and how much unless someone asks or ill pm then the information but I would recommend this individual to anyone for any hood - Oh and he made the hood in 5 days, cant beat that.
On a side what’s the PSI rating in the stock hood struts? He recommended that I get ones that are half the PSI due to the hood being much lighter and the possibility of damaging the hood.
Also installed the Honda push button start in my cigarette lighter today

I don't know about the psi ratings of the stock ones, but I've seen lots of guys just take one off and be careful not to twist when raising/lowering the hood.

Looks good! As for the struts, if you go to any website for one of the major manufacturers that make fiberglass hoods, like http://www.up22.com/index.htm , or http://www.carhoods.com/ , they should be able to get you the ones you need.

some coin, yea - rims, SS spoiler, SS hood (for $449 its a great buy though!), speakers, Honda push button starter, seats - still have to buy/pick up the matching door panels from bonzo - and buy/pickup complete drivers side door up in newark to replace mine with its bad motor and scratched/loose window. Oh then paint hopefully in the next two weeks. After that i think ill be done for a while. well done as far as buying things, i want to polish some things in the engine and clean that up a bit.
Thanks SteveR. I might go with the one strut idea but ill look into those places also

Another  is to find someone who has a set of OLD struts that are not holding the hood up too well. If they lost some of their gas, they might be just right for a lightweight hood.

Oh, and look into the Ford Racing push button starter. Its the system out of the Ford GT, and you can use it in any other car. I just put on in my brothers '08 Mustang. The setup including the button, harness, hardware, and everything was like $120.

Steve i put the Honda button in my car for $40

I just followed these instructions (http://www.pitreweb.com/s2000sw.htm) and i have the wires and connections already but at most it would cost $20 for that.
