Ok I am going to gloat to anyone who wants to listen cause im pretty hammered and feeling pretty good right bout now. The main thing to remember is that happiness really does come in small doses.

Well according to my doctor I am not allowed to skate until PT is over but I feel fine. My bar leauge ice hockey team made the playoffs and they were short 7 guys tonight for their first game so I was asked to play. Now i realize how stupid it is to put myself at risk for a stupid crappy leauge but I really really wanted to play. I sucked royal ass for the first two periods and questioned why I went. Entering the third period we were losing 3-2 and 2 guys on my team were thrown out which left us with onbly 7 guys the other team still had about 15 guys. I picked off a pass and with a guy on me I managed to skate it in and score with about 4 min left. The very next play off the face off it came to me and I skated it in again on the left wing with a guy on me, hit the brakes and passed it across to my wide open winger who roofed it for a second goal in 14 seconds. We held them off 4-3 for the win... and i wasnt asked to play the next game, azzholes. but whatever, im happy and drunk anyway.

Thanks for listening, Vote republican.

congrats! but, you were right.. it was stupid. stay off the skates til you get the ok. you don't want to risk having more surgery because someone gives you a skate to the knee.

Glad you're feeling better. And wait til you get the ok, I had a knee injury and it takes a while to heal and if you rush it, you can do permanent harm to it.

I wis given the option for an Autogfaft vs. an Allograft. Not wanting a dead dudes ACL in my body i went with the Autograft. My Dr. warned me that with that type of surgery the bulk of the pain and rehab would not be associated with the ACL it self but the patella graft off my knee cap. I said "ahh, how bad could it be?" and did it anyway. Next time i am going with the cadaver. Bone grafts are extreemly painful.
