I just purchased hedman 68479 headers with the ball and socket 3 in. collector and i am thinking i am going to need to have a shop make me a custom y pipe. This is going on a 1987 camaro. I was wondering if anyone new of any reasonably priced shops in the Morris County area. I am assuming it needs to be 3 in. at the collectors and then i need it to be welded to the straight pipe that i have in place of the cat. anyone with experience? thanks

Without a cat, most shops in NJ won't touch the exhaust of the car. It could land them in big trouble if they do.

i am not trying to tell you how to do it but if you trailer it to a shop and it does not have plates - its an off road repair / add on - jz

It's not this state....cats are required in the entire country.
