Anyone know if you can get the rear window defrosters fixed? I think only 2 or 3 of the strips actually work.:-?

They sell a repair kit(NAPA/PEP BOYS) that contains copper dust in a liquid glue. You need a test lamp to put in on EACH grid to find out which ones have power going to them. When you get to an area where it does not light up, look for a BREAK in the wire. At that point you need to apply the copper glue so that the current passes thru it. It is a VERY time consuming process:rofl:, but it is the only way to fix it.

Sorry to thread jack, but i figure i would post here, instead of making a new thread about the hatch defrost...but my question is is there anyway to keep the rear defrost on for longer then like 1 mintue? rear defrost on my 87 camaro only stays on for a minute then turns off, then i gotta keep turning it back on, is it supposed to be like that?

No, it's supposed to run for about 10 minutes. I would suspect a faulty relay.
