Anyone can post one picture of their Camaro or Firebird in this thread.

Please include your name and a short paragraph describing the mods done to the car and/or a short story about the car as well.

If this is not posted in this thread by the time voting begins, your car will not be included in the vote.

At the last week of the month we will post a poll that will last for one week (7 days) and the winner will get to spend the following month showcased on the home page of the site. Past winners will not be eligible to win again for 12 months.

All submitted pictures should be a minimum size of 640 x 480, as this is the size of the image that will be posted on the home page. If you aren't sure of the size, post it up the largest image you have (within reason).

Lets get those submissions in!

My name is Ed Kozinski and this is a different view of my 1991 Formula 350. Bought the car from the original owner in 1993 after I needed to sell my 1989 Turbo Trans Am(sorely missed). After street driving it for about 3 years, the winters were just too much to deal with, so in the garage it went and I bought a DD. That's when I started to redo the entire undercarriage and brake parts. Everything has either been painted or polished. Lots of 1500 compound and machine polish brought up the finish to show standards. It has been a labor of love with even more detailing every year to improve the overall performance, handling and finish for this garage Queen! New additions this year are CLEAR front side marker lens with the GM chrome 1" square emblem on the side of them, Sylvania Silverlites in the front turn signals, a factory open mesh hood scoop plate, 35% side window tint and a 12" shorty factory style black antenna

There were only 1,198 made with the L98 Option. It is currently a SHOWCAR(which is also my vanity plate)but it does win its fair share of PONTIAC DAY racing classes at Raceway Park and a Best of Show now and then. At the 2007 FBody Nationals it was voted BEST 3rd Gen FIREBIRD. It was featured in High-Performance Magazine because all of the mods were BOLT-ON. Most of the mods installed are from SLP/ Edlebrock/ BORLA/ Hypertech and MSD. The Formula was bought in 1993 with 21,000 miles and street driven for 3 years after that and now has 58,000 miles. Mostly stock exterior except for HTF '91-92 GTA Tail Lamps and '93 Nose Bird.

I got the car in 2006 for Christmas while I was stationed in Okinawa, Japan. My parents knew I always wanted a Camaro and couldn't pass up the perfect opportunity. My stepfather had the car tuned and returned to perfect running condition and was told by his mechanic that the engine has had work done to it. I know for a fact that I got it with a Morosso cold air intake and Flowmaster cat-back. Since I have owned it I have installed the C6 Z06 wheels, g-force kdw, Eibach springs, Bilstein struts, B&M Transpak shift kit, B&M transmission cooler, and currently have SLP 3.73 rear gear waiting to be installed.

My name is James Newcomb , i am the second owner of this 1988 Iroc-z28. it has stock tpi, trans, rear, motor, with only functional ram air, hooker headers, high flow cat and a flowmaster 80 series muffler. this car was purchased in January of 2005 when my silverado was totaled. the car has less than 93,000 original miles. Brand new carpet, custom upholstery and the rest of the interior is all original. the paint is less than 1 year old as are the rims/tires. it has a 91/92 style high rise wing with centered magnaflow exhaust tips like the rectangal 4th gen tips on the z28's that are cut into the bumper.

I bought the car from a dealership that I work at for $13,500 with 14,500 miles. She has no T-Tops, manual door locks, manual windows. Doesn't even have a trunk release button. I bought her because my white 94 Z was a piece of junk. Broke every time I drove it. Plus it was a good deal.

About the Car: Here is my Sebring Silver Metallic 1995 Z28 Camaro. I purchased the car 3 years ago completely 100% bone stock from Long Island with 80k miles on it. The car was in excellent shape, and has since come a long way from being stock. It has undergone its fair share of visual and performance modifications. It currently sports a JSPerformance built 355ci LT1 and is backed by a 6-speed Manual. I'm building this car as a modern "Pro-Touring" car, capable of auto-x, road racing, and being able to hold its own in a straight line! This car is my pride and joy, and is still a work in progress. It now has 113k miles and still has many more modifications planned for the future!

Name: Noah Roedel
Car: 2001 Camaro Z/28
This Z, dubbed by many as "The Elusive Striped Catfish" was purchased from Gearheat Chevrolet in August 2005, with 46,900 miles, for $13,500. Loaded with T-Tops, Power Everything, Black Leather Interior, and the good ol' LS1 attached with a 4L60e, it was such a short time until the modifications started arriving at the doorstep. Today, breathing with a transparent MTI Lid & KNN, this catfish has been hooked with a roaring set of Pacesetter Off-Road Headers, Hooker 3" Aerochambered System, while making an attempt to be environmental-friendly with a Texas Speed & Performance Hi-flow 3" Catted Y-Pipe. It hugs the road nicely with a 1.25" / 1.50" BMR lowering kit, along with a BMR Adjustable Panhard Bar, 32mm/21mm BMR Sway Bars, and a BMR Strut Tower Brace. The sound system includes four 7" Clarion's powered by a Pioneer 7800 which keeps the neighbors at peace, but the driver at music-thrashing heaven. As of December, the catfish got the "demod" mod for the winter, but once it's time to go out fishing on the streets again, this car will be there in full swing.

About the car: This was purchased from a dealership in central jersey about 3 years ago. I have since installed an SLP air lid, long tube headers, catted 3" y pipe, borla catback, Eibach Springs, Bilstein shocks, and a nice new cutout... whew. There's not a whole lot to say other than she's my baby and I take as best care of her as humanly possible. I have a full JL sound system with a 10" stealth box.. but you'd never know that would you ;)

2001 Camaro SS #1709 owned by Paul H.
I purchased the car brand new in August of 2001 but most of the mods were done during the winter of 2006/2007. The car now sports a '03 corvette Z06 crate engine(LS6) with a TSP MS3 camshaft, Harland Sharp rebuilt rocker arms, PRC dual spring valve springs, hardened push rods, ported LS6 oil pump, ARP Rod bolts, Fluidampr harmonic balancer w/ARP bolt, Meizer electric water pump, ported TB, QTP LT headers, MSD coil packs, MSD plug wires, TSP air lid, !AIR, Textralia Clutch, Hurst Short throw shifter(factory option), Lous short stick, Hurst roll-control, off-road y-pipe, Magnaflow catback, UMI 3-point tubular subframe connectors, Spohn tubular adjustable chassis mount TQ arm, Spohn tubular adjustable LCAs and panhard, BMR LCA relocation brackets, Intrax lowering springs. Appearance-wise, the car has been transformed with Berger style stripes, Berger rear panel, euro clear front directionals, HIDs, Export taillights, Export rear bumper w/fogs, 5% tint, painted lower airbox, and painted engine compartment. Inside the car is a VDO Xtreme Tach, pioneer in-dash am/fm/cd/dvd motorized 7" monitor, 12 cd changer, Xbox(soon PS3), JL interior speakers, Soundstream Mule subwoofers, Alpine 740w 4ch amp, and a Kenwood 1000w 2ch amp.

The car still needs to be tuned for the current engine setup but that will be done after the next mod is bolted on... ;-)

I bought this car in 1993 from the dealer with 1100 miles on it. It has a 305 TBI and a 700r4. I drove the car as my daily driver for about a year until I got another car as my daily driver. Since then the car has been garage kept and is all stock. It still wears its original tires now with just about 15k on the clock.

I bought the car December 26th 2006 as a Christmas present to myself. It was bought from a dealer in Pa who got it as a trade in from an older gentleman who had a stroke. Current mods include a few bolt ons such as a lid, exhaust sway bars, etc. Future mods include lowering, tint, a 3400 stall, and possibly a cam and 12 bolt for next year. This picture was taken by Alex and edited by me.
