Ok, with it opening to the public easter weekend, I assume that a lot of people on here will be with family. Whos down for over the week or maybe the last weekend?
What day, and whos going?

Friday 21st:
Saturday 22nd: UBG and Brian
Sunday 23rd: probably only j3w....
Monday 24th: Melissa and Steve
Tuesday 25th: (Big Al has off Tuesday...all are welcome to join him as he will probably have a great lay out after being there two times prior and he has a handful of coupons for 2 bucks off.)

The gf and I are planning on going one night during the week, but not sure what night yet though. I'd rather stick needles in my eye before I'd go there on a weekend again because of all the obnoxious idiots that tend to go on the weekends.

Expect to pay $20+ for the first hour not to mention they are probably jam packed during a weekday. When I go in on the weekends with my dad since thats the only time he is free, we usually just park on the street and walk a few blocks.

For school, it depends on the day. If we go on a Monday I have to be back by 3:30, Tuesdays & Thursdays by 2:30, I'm not free Wednesdays, but free all day Friday (usually work @ 4)

BTW, bad news. Camaro will not be there. ZR1 will be along with the "flying Corvette", the new Turbo Cobalt, the G8 sedan, and Pontiac is showing 3 new cars at this show.
One will be the G8 ST "Ute"
The other will be the G8 GXP with the LS3 and 6spd manual (auto optional)
And the last one is going to be the Solstice Targa top.
It seems "my boss" at GMI has worked his magic for me, and I will have an interview with someone from Pontiac!!

There is a lot of stuff going down on GMI right now. To those that like to surf GMI, come check out the new lay out. There will be a lot of news coming out about teh site over the next week or two.

From the Fbodfather himself, he said that most shows dont get 3 years straight of a concept in fear of showing it too much.
Dont ask me why Chicago and Detroit got it 3 years in a row (coupe, vert, bb).
Anyway, it seems that the focus will also be turned to Pontiac as they are showing the 3 new cars coming in the next year. Id also like for them to debut the refreshed XLR since it is now the oldest Caddy in the line up without a refresh.

Ok, tomorrow I have dont have an interview with Jim Hopson...I have an interview with Jim Bunnell, head of Pontiac, Buick, GMC. That is at 4pm. I has another one with head of Buick Product Development Dave Smidebush.
If anyone here has any constructive (ie WHEN ARE WE GETTING THE FIREBIRD/TRANS AM BACK is not one) questions they would like answerd, please post here and I will add it to my list of things to ask.

1. Will the G8 ST be available in a 6-speed? Price range?

2. Will Buick be making any performance/luxury cars again like they did in the 50s-60s-70s? If so, what platform if any will it share?

3. What ever happened to the SS prototype thing from like 2004? Although that was Chevy not Pontiac.

4. Will/Is Pontiac looking at diesel engines as a widely available option in production cars like Dodge, Jeep, Audi, Peugeot, VW, and others are doing?

5. Are we getting the Firebird back? :rofl:

Wow, very cool show especially for Pontiac. I got to sit in the Solstice Targa....its tough to get in, but not much worse then getting in a Covette. Once inside, you have enough room, but the really small windows on all sides will make someone who is clostrophobic probably panic.
