Well I just refinanced the vette dropping my payment $100 per month and to add to the good news my boss in the USAF just told me to resubmit my application for my 2nd job(since he's a manager there also) and I will be hired by the store manager since they got the approval to hire me :w00t:So as of next week I'm starting my 2nd job full time 7am-3pm as the assistant manager on day shift at advance auto parts. :mrgreen:If everything goes how I plan it I will have the vette paid off by this time next year and looking to buy my own house. It's going to be hard working 2 jobs, but the end result is soo worth it.

Awesome man congrats, what store will you be in, Toms River? Its a an easy job, I used to open and close the Absecon store alone so I'm sure you'll do just fine. the only thing that gets tricky is doing RL and setting up the out going shipment. O and back stocking SUCKS never do it all in one week of the shrink will be insane. Good luck man, that 20% discount is gonna have to make a certain admin work that much harder this spring

Sweet man, just be careful though, working that much is gonna be hell on your body.

the money is great while you're doing it, but its very tough. I worked two jobs all last fall, and it was great making that much money, but my sleep definitely suffered. Now I'm sitll working one of those full time jobs and starting my own business at the same time. Its nice knowing I can support myself and my business on my other salary, but again, sleep definitely suffers.

Yeah I know. I get time at work to work out and I'll only be doing this for a year so I'll hopefully keep that stress to a minimum.

The store manager told me it's a mon-fri job so I'll get to sleep in on the weekends :)

Thanks. It's the one right here in my town. It's a staggering 1 mile from my house lol. The 20% is going to be nice, but it won't be spent on parts. Paying off bills/saving for a house FTW

Thats great news on the Vette, and congrats on the job. Try not to wear yourself out and sleep as much as you can, it'll help keep you from getting sick.

Congrats on both counts Rob!

I spent a summer working 75-80 hours a week between two jobs (and partying till ~2am most nights) and it was crazy. The amount of sleep I didn't get was insane, but the money was great.

Like others said, sleep whenever you can, and you'll do fine.

Not in salem, but that's a HUGE coincidence that you saw another house with a blue c5 and a black WS6 :) I live in south jersey in the pemberton area.
