As the title says, has anyone on here that goes to Rutgers ever taken Soc 311 Intro to Soc research as a class?
If so, who did you take it with and how easy was the professor, or who do you recommend taking the class with?
I figure some one may have taken the class being the is a NJ forum and I know a few people either went or go to Rutgers. Ratemyprofessor doesn't really help in this instance.

Look on facebook too. There used to be a way to put a course schedule in before they changed everything, since it was originally set up as a class type website

There's a way to look up professor ratings on facebook? How do you do that? I am having trouble with this class. And supposedly I am taking the best option of a professor to take the class with. Figures its the last class I need for the major and it gives me trouble.

I am taking the class now! I got to Rutgers Camden, not sure if you are talking about New bruns or not. My professor is Ted Goertzel, the first day of class he told us that we didnt need to come and that he thinks it should be offered as an online class. Every week we have an online test that you can take 3 times and see if you got it right each time. The class is pretty easy as long as you keep up with the work and dont forget you have an assignment. Lmk if you want to know anything else.

lucky you. My class is hard. I am not even sure if I just passed the midterm or not. With any luck she'll give a curve. Its not even fair, I met with Prof. Phillips after class and even met with a tutor and I knew everything so well, but the damn multiple choice questions threw me for a loop. If it wasn't multiple choice I probably could have aced it.
I hate multiple choice/standardized tests. They really don't test your knowledge, only your mental ability. Otherwise, they are only given to confuse you with two very similar answers or they are worded to try to confuse you. That doesn't tell the teacher what you learned or know, its just trying to confuse you. An essay tells what the student had learned.

I'm taking intro to soc at rutgers-newark. Biggest waste of time. My teacher just rambles about the stupidest stuff. The work is mostly pretty easy and straight forward though, just reading and simple 1 page papers.
