85 trans am keeps shutn off

hey im juan and i just wanted to know if anyone had heard of my problem. i hav an 85 trans am 5.0 ho carb. and i dont know exactly when but the car keeps cuttin off. you'll know when its cutting of because the radio turns off as the car turns off right after . sometimes it turns on right away sometimes it takes up to a min to turn on. also when i turn on the heat it does it too. :?:

Sounds like an electrical issue. Check for loose connections.

start with the lug were the battery hooks to the alt. some times when they get corroded you get poor amperage but the normal voltage

thats wut i thought to . but it does it more the hotter it is . the other day i was running it the whole day and it kept doing it more and more till it got to the point that it would cut of 7 times in like 2 blocks . it has a new batt. a friend said that it could do something with the electrical choke

yea i was checkn out my car like ten mins ago and it shut off again. so i put the heat on high without the car running and it shut off. is there any way to check where it is . should i try the relay??

i was wondering if anyone had any ideas . cuz i feel like one day its going to cause a crash or something.
