a tpi conversion will nickle and dime the hell outta you. dont do it unless you have ALL the parts you need from a donor car...
engine harness, dash harness, fuel lines, fuel sender, fuel pump, sensors, engine, tpi setup, correct engine harness if you wanna stay with V belts... there a LOT to consider. Unless you are starting from the ground up, converting isnt easy, especially for a beginner...

well i want to keep it carb. but i wanted to build my motor before puttin it in . im not looking to spend on cheap things . i want to build it right the first time . and keep my 5.0 stock for when i blow it i allways got a spare. and i dont just want to put a stock 5.7 in . ima rebuild it to hit atleast low 12 high 11s.

If its currently in running condition. I would build up the chassis then suspension then worry about the motor.

:werddance: i've been preaching subframe connectors to him since he got the car lol. that and a strong rear. either way... 383 :)

Subframe connectors. But if your doing brakes, I would make sure all the other maintence is up to date on it before you start modding.
