hey guys... well im gonna go ahead and throw some wheels on my car for summertime and i think im going to go with zr1's again just cause they are affordable and look soo nice... i really like the finish of a polished wheel but i know its alot of work... just looking for opinions on whose had non-clear coated polished wheels and if it was a real PITA... if i dont go polished im gonna go silver painted but i like the polished better.... keep in mind this is not a daily driven car but it is not garaged... just kept under a cover... thanks

they are a pain. if you aren't the kinda guy that washes his car religiously, i wouldn't do it

thats fine. only now you gotta throw some polish on the wheels every time you wash it and take em off in the salty stuff

I am trying to sell my polished ZR1s for ANY OTHER FINISH. I positively hate polished wheels. I wash my car often, but it's not just washing the car. You gotta dry the wheels right away, otherwise? Water spots. If they are bad enough? Bust out the heavy polish. Maybe someone who has more patience would do them justice, but not my cup of tea.
^^^I like your solution to the problem, I'm selling mine because I'd rather spend less time polishing and more time driving hahah

they arent that bad.... but the best thing ever made is a product called zoop seal... when i had my stang i didnt polish my wheels for over a year
*edit* and when i did polish them bout once a month it would be about a half hour per wheel then once every 3 months or so id take them off and do them really well about an hour a wheel
