watching Full Metal Jacket and jarhead and some other Marine movies. Man, I wish I was still at Boot. I'm soo pissed I'm not allowed to reenlist. I can feel my insides telling me that I want it so bad. That damn title that only the few and the proud have. On top of that my buddy just left for field training. Everytime we hung out and he happened to be wearing his dress blues I got so jealous. IDK, I really can't explain it.
Oh, and the girl got her tonsils and adnoids taken out today. Shes hurtin real bad.

Dude, I'm glad you posted this thread because I've been wondering what you were doing back early after having seen you on here a few weeks ago. You get hurt or something? I was really shocked given how excited you were to go.

I guess I'll just have to wait for my buddy Chris to come home from training in Cali right before he goes to Iraq. Last time we "acquired" a cardboard cutout army guy and took it bar hopping with us.
Sorry Paul. Its super funny.

10-4.
Asthma kept me out of the Corps. I feel the same way when I see Marines: That 'could've been' feeling. Keep your chin up.

i did the navy, but only because their recruiting office was the first one down the hall... i was headed to the end of the hall, where the marines recruiter was. anyway, i scored like an ace on the ASVAB, graduated high school and signed a contract. once out, i kinda missed it, but kinda didn't. this past go-around with al-qaeda makes me wish i had stayed in. went to re-enlist and the back kept me out. i argued that my back didn't come into play if i was laying on my stomach with a guillies suit on and a rifle with a scope. the recruiter laughed at me. :(
