i finally changed auto insurance companies after 9 years...

During all those years i never shopped around or looked for better rates, i didnt care. Well, someone was telling me of a company/bank estalishment that provides auto insurance to the military community and they have good rates. So today i called for a quote. Once i heard the cost, i told them to start my policy asap. Goes into effect at midnight. I WAS paying something like 1200 a year for my Denali, liability only, and 300-350 a year for each additional car. My new policy is in 6 month periods, and for my Denali, still liability only, i paid 206.... yes 206 for 6 months.. Its still hard for me to believe. NY insurance and NJ registration still. And this company also has a division for Classic and collector insurance for military personnel. Another benifit of the Army.. lol

Yeah, I have USAA for my auto and homeowners. They are excellent. I remember trying to shop rates with other companies only to have them say "Nah, forget it" when I said I had a quote from USAA.

USAA had my prices jacked up so i saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico. That was a few years ago. USAA wasn't cheap for me and they threw a fit when i went to cancel my policy with them.
So, I couldn't help notice that you're sand box bound. Good luck and thank you! I was over there 4 times. Doha, Qatar twice and Balad, Iraq (Camp Anaconda) twice. I had a blast in Iraq :bang:
