Get outside!

I spent the morning on the computer doing work and started to get a killer head ache. So I grabbed my camera, threw on a jacket, and put some boots on and went to Ringwood Manor, a state botanical garden. I parked the truck and just walked around for an hour or so by myself. It was nice and cool out, and I was out away from civilization, listening to nature. Its really relaxing, and certainly helps you gather your thoughts!

More people need to step away from the television & computers, and really get out there!

BTW Does anyone shoot Skeet? The park I was at has a skeet range further down the road called Thunder Mountain. Its $17 for 25 shots, instructor, and they even lend you a shot gun if you need one. I'm going to clean up my Remington and probably take it up sometime during the week.

Ive shot skeet numerous times. Its pretty fun. you can shoot skeet by yourself or with some friends. All depends on the situation i guess.

Yeah I have a Trap 12 gauge Weatherby pump shotgun that I use when down in the Kenilworth park area. Still have a case of Remington shells that made for trap shooting. Would like to go with someone from this area. :bang:

I haven't been trap shooting in a while but I did sporting clays last year and I SUCKED. What's odd is that I am pretty good with pistols and rifles, but with a shotgun I just can't put it together.

I've never been trap shooting before, but I'll go if we get a group together. I can throw some money to whomever lends me a gun, I can pick up ammo before hand if I know what to buy.

LOL...anyways. Good advice. It usually does the same thing for me when it's warm out and I can take the top off the vette or the T/A and go cruising. :)

I've been known to knock some clay pigeons out of the sky at my uncle's farm in Wantage....
