I had today off from work, and have been working around the house to get things ready for when the contractors come next week to redo my bathrooms. I musta thrown out at least 25 old parts catalogs, and have 3 piles of old car mags that are almost as tall as I am. I also went through just about all of my clothes, and realized I'm a fat fook! Oh well, I'll have a nice big contibution for Good Will.

We've been doing some cleaning up around the house with the new dog. I honestly don't know why I save some of the crap I have. I always think I'm gonna find a use for it and then suddenly realize it's been sitting around for 7 years and hasn't been touched once. I need to just toss stuff out a lot sooner. This way, I'll have much more room for my dust collection!

My family's going to attack our garage (& maybe basement) once it starts to warm up... lots of crap in there we don't need

Moving does wonders in throwing away things you don't touch. I've donated a bunch of clothes I thought I'd wear again but never did (and there's still more I could get rid of). James (who's a huge packrat) has been able to rid of some stuff.
Floods also do wonders for clearing out a lot, but it's not exactly fun. :(
