so far this weekend has been pretty productive. i got the fuel pressure regulator and fittings for the 84 camaro. so on saturday i installed that and plumbed it to the carb with -8AN braided stainless line. now im just waiting for my flaring tool, then ill order the hard line that i need and she'll be back on the road. here are the pics

as for the 68 camaro, i got a pretty good amount done on it today. i got most of the floor cut out and most of the roof skin off. i have the new roof skin but im going to go to the swap meet at englishtown to see if i can get the full floor and the right side inner rocker. let me know what you guys think.

Looking good on both ends. The '84 Camaro looks real clean under the hood. What's the spec on the engine?

the engine in the 84 is a 434ci small block built by scott shafiroff out in long island. it was dynoed at his shop making 576hp and 582ft-lbs at the crank

shafiroff is top of the line. they are a great bunch of people. i am extremely satisfied with their customer service and their work. i too was looking at the bill mitchel 427sbc. then i stubbled across shafiroff. i am very please with it. i bought the engine complete with carb, ignition and a few other upgrades. it cost me just under 11grand. its alot of money but when you look at what you are getting, it is a pretty fair price.
