That's cool the Troc is still going strong. I played there once when I was in college. As for concerts, only thing planned so far is Disturbed at House of Blues. May go see Sevendust and Saliva at Starland, too.

Testament is playing the Starland on April 5th. Original lineup except with Paul Bostaph drumming for them.:headbang:

I did manage to get a DVD of the Maiden concert from the meadowlands some how. Not bad for some guy recording it in the crowd. Good stuff.

I got my $$ back for the AC show.

We thought about it, but decided to stick it out and see if they make it back. We finally have really good seats for a show; don't want to lose them if it's really gonna happen!

bodom/megadeth at hammerstein

tell more about this show... i've never been to the hammerstein ballroom, but i hear it's a good place acoustically, and i dig megadeth (****, i am older than mustaine).

nevermind, i googled it.

Other acts announced for the trek--which kicks off its American leg April 12 in Denver--include Scandinavian death metal act In Flames, Finland's Children of Bodom, and a pair of US metal outfits: Job For a Cowboy and High on Fire. The tour will hit 29 cities in all through late March.

04/22 - New York, NY - Hammerstein Ballroom

(heh heh)
"I think that in a small way, we are cleaning up the environment of crappy bands," Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine said in a press statement for the tour, which he inaugurated in 2005 with a bill that included Anthrax, Fear Factory and Dillinger Escape Plan. "All of the people that really love this kind of music know that they can count on these bands to deliver the goods this year."

Singer/guitarist Mustaine is the sole remaining original member of Megadeth, which has gone through countless lineup changes over the band's history. In the group's most recent shuffle, guitarist Chris Broderick (formerly of Nevermore and Jag Panzer) will take over duties from Glen Drover, who is leaving the group to spend more time with his family, according to various reports.

"I've noticed [on the Internet] that people are pissed with me over the way things were handled with Glen quitting the group," Mustaine said, "but they're gonna be pissed even more when they hear how fierce we are with Chris! Megadeth is playing at a new level."

Friend's girlfriend found out she can get us 100's section tickets for maiden at MSG in june, so I'll be there... and then one of our friends goes to Drexel so it looks like we'll be meeting him at the Camden show a couple days later.

That's all that's definite for me right now
