Just putting this out there to see what is available.....

Ideallly, I'd like to find a 4 cylinder, runs on regular, 30+ mpg, FWD, auto for a commuter car....... cheap

I'd love to say manual but my left knee and a bazillion knee surgeries prevents me :(

Check Craigslist. There are plenty of AWD Impreza L's that get 30mpg+, and they're a lot easier to work on than any other (D and B series Honda included) 4 cylinder, period. The 2.2 is nice for the added power, but the 1.8 should suffice.

i have a 2000 cavalier with 119k. brand new tires brake pads and i just have the timing chain and tensioner replaced. runs great $2kobo

I've got an 01 Saturn SC2 with 120k on it that I just picked up. Need to align it and it should be good to go. Inspection is good til 5/09. I'm looking to get $2,800 or best offer. Car is fully loaded....for a Saturn anyway.
