A friend of mine asked me to get he car out on some websites to show it off. If you've been to the Pontiac Day or Englishtown Swap Meet, you have probably seen this car shown already. The owner is having problems with his vision and can't get the car out as much as he would like. He asked me to share his car among fellow Trans Am and Muscle Car enthusiasts.

This is a true Macho T/A #118. I've seen this car go from a clean, low mileage stock T/A to the insanely modified Trans Am you see before you. He has sent no less then $90,000 building this car over the course of the past 15 or so years. Here is some of the details:

455 built by No Limit Performance Estimated 550+hp and 600lbs of torque (was dynoed but I forgot the actual)
Dual 4bbls
700r4 Overdrive Trans rebuilt to take the HP
Ford 9" Posi rear with 3.73 gears
Full Front and Rear Hotchkis Suspension
Tubular Control arms
Custom one off 17" wheels built only for this T/A
Recaro Seats
Chrome Hooker 4-pt Roll Bar
Full Autometer Gauges
Kick Ass Stereo

He has to give me the fine details but you can get the idea. Let me know what you all think.

LOL, that's funny. Those of you who are unaware of what the Macho edition T/A is go to this site for a quick lesson:

The Macho T/A is the equivalent of the Yenko Camaro for Firebird owners.

The 78TA SE is my dream TA. The Macho TAs to me were the attempts at making a collectable.

I can definately appreciate the workmanship and rarity of the car, but the color scheme borders on gaudy. Well, it IS a 70's car I suppose.

Hope the owner can hang on to it a while longer. Definately worth money in the eyes of the right buyer. Thanks for sharing! :)

The car is not for sale. He has owned it for over 15 years already. He said he will be burried in the car.

I love that Macho T/A. I see it regularly at E-town and always enjoy it.

Tell your friend to keep up the good work. I am always impressed by the quality of the work. As wild as the car is I like all the subtle mods. (Like the clear grille covers for example).

He will be up at E-town on Sat for the show as always. He has white hair and sunglasses since his vision is shot. He is very approchable and I am sure he would like to hear your opinons on the car. Tell him you had seen it on here too.

I know this was an older post but my buddy Rich asked if I can try to market his car for him. I know I stated before that it would not be for sale but a couple years later, I guess he decided to let it go... for the right price. The motor is now redone by Butler and he has done a few more things to it. Plus it was featured on a two page spread on HP Ponitacs article on the E-Town HPP show. Here are some updated pictures.

Make a thread in the cars for sale section of the forum. Provide HIS contact info unless you have full authority to bargain and sell this car.
