i started doing my 918 valve spring, pushrod and yella terra roller rocker install on sat and there all finally in and working beautifully. the back 2 on the passenger side were a real bitch but there finally done. i also threw on a set of ssbc rotors and 3piston calipers and my black corvette rims. so all i have to do is get 2 new tires on the back bleed the brakes and im good 2 go! ill throw up some pics hopefully later 2 day

no i even tried with that magnet so there somewhere in the oil passages or they might have made it into the oil pan. do you know if the oil pump pickup on an ls1 has a screen?
i would assume it would and hopefully it dosent cause any trouble. but theres not much else i can do to get them out aside from pulling apart the engine

ill keep an eye out for it next oil change. also on a side note these upgrades arent just for the hell of it i have a little something up my sleeve that will be going onto this car that should be making some nice power and hopefully be in and installed before dyno day. only problem is that its being made/revised by the company so i am just eagerly waiting until it is completed and shipped.

Maybe it's just me, but I'd be yanking that motor if there was unaccounted for metal in it somewhere.
