Anyone can post one picture of their Camaro or Firebird in this thread.
Please include your name and a short paragraph describing the mods done to the car and/or a short story about the car as well.
If this is not posted in this thread by the time voting begins, your car will not be included in the vote.
At the last week of the month we will post a poll that will last for one week (7 days) and the winner will get to spend the following month showcased on the home page of the site. Past winners will not be eligible to win again for 12 months.
All submitted pictures should be a minimum size of 640 x 480, as this is the size of the image that will be posted on the home page. If you aren't sure of the size, post it up the largest image you have (within reason).
Lets get those submissions in!

My name is John Greco and this is my 2002 Pontiac Trans Am Firehawk. It is production #144. I purchased the car in early October 2004 after a lifetime of wanting a Trans Am. The car was completely stock, except for having a remote starter and undetectable radar system installed by the original owner. The car was ordered with the base Firehawk package which, along with 20 extra hp, includes these options:
-Composite hood w/ functional cold air induction scoops
-Hood mounted heat extractors
-17"x9" five-spoke painted aluminum wheels
-P275/40ZR17 Firestone Firehawk SZ 50 tires
-Performance stainless steel exhaust system w/ twin dual tips
-Upgraded suspension components
-Firehawk center console plaque and key fobs
-Firehawk front fascia badge
I tend to be a purist when it comes to cars, so I'm not really big on mods. However, I've done some basic mods, which include an SLP Loud Mouth 2 exhaust, SLP sub-frame connectors, BMR strut tower brace, SLP air lid and smooth bellows.

I got the car in 2005 for Christmas while I was stationed in Okinawa, Japan. My parents knew I always wanted a Camaro and couldn't pass up the perfect opportunity. I got it with a Morosso air intake and Flowmaster cat-back. Since I have owned it I have installed the C6 Z06 wheels with g-force kdw rubber, Eibach springs, Bilstein struts, B&M Transpak shift kit, B&M transmission cooler, and SLP 3.73 gears for the 10 bolt.

2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 M6
I bought the car from a dealership that I work at for $13,500 with 14,500 miles. She has no T-Tops, manual door locks, manual windows. Doesn't even have a trunk release button. I bought her because my white 95 Z was a piece of junk. Broke every time I drove it. Plus it was a good deal. I've always wanted a Camaro, and now I have the one of my dreams! It's so nice to be able to pull in somewhere and have people come over and ask what's done and how good the car looks.

2000 Chevrolet Camaro Z28
I bought my Z28 a year ago from a guy in elizabeth who just drove the car and had no intentions of modifying it. From the moment i got home I realized that I had made a great decision buying her, not only for the sweet LS1 engine that was packed into the engine bay, but the body styling that to me seems forever timeless and classy. My first exterior modification was to get rid of the stock snowflake rims for the better SS 10 spokes. She now has a billet grille with a retro Z28 badge on it, Hockey Strpies, a gloss black berger panel and RS spoiler. Currently on the exhaust part of the engine she has a set of Pacesetter longtubes, an ORY, and a stock catback, and absolutely no emissions control. Air coming into the engine is sucked in by an MTI clear lid and an SLP Blackwing filter. Suspension-wise she is pretty much stock aside from the Lakewood boxed lower control arms in the rear, poly bushing, and Bilstein HD shocks on all 4 corners. In the future im looking into an LS6 intake manifold, and who knows maybe nitrous, or a turbo kit down the road. Only time will tell.

This particular picture is about a year and a half old the car looks a bit different now but I still like this picture. I bought the car December 26th 2006 as a Christmas present to myself. It was bought from a dealer in Pa who got it as a trade in from an older guy who had a stroke (I actually contacted the previous owner as I thought the dealer was full of it) Current mods include a few bolt ons such as a lid, exhaust sway bars, etc. Future mods include lowering, tint, and a 3400 stall for this year. Next year I will be looking at a cam and 12 bolt.

2002 Camaro SS #5290
I bought this car at Tom Oates Chevrolet in Chester Springs, PA in November 2004 with 11,000 miles on it. The car is everything I was looking for. Black SS, M6, power everything, low mileage, t-tops, black leather, and un-molested. Since purchasing the car I have added a set of 18" C5 Z06 wheels, SLP SFC's, SLP STB, SLP Lid, & TR Ported TB. This winter I added UMI Suspension Components consisting of Torque Arm, TA relocation kit, Panhard Bar, and Lower Control Arms. Recently installed were QTP longtubes, and in May, I will be installing the Bassani True Dual Exhaust System. I've had a blast with this car, and hope to keep it for many years to come.

I bought this car in July 2001 and have been slowly working on this car. I have taught myself everything I know on this car! I did a TPI conversion, added Z06 Wheels, 1992 ground effects, tinted the taillights, installed a 1996 Camaro leather interior, full stereo system, posi rear with 3:73 gears, rebuilt the trans with a shift kit, full header back exhaust with an electronic cutout.... the list goes on and on! i plan on putting the car away for a while soon and keeping it forever!
