When I was a flying crew chief I got to go to edwards for the F-22 testing a few times. We were sitting on the ramp waiting for our alert(just incase one of the jets needed a refuel) and I got to see an F-16 try to keep up with an F-22 around an oval holding pattern about 15k feet up. LOL  Let's just say about the 3rd time around the F-16 just cut straight across to try and catch up

Yep, the F-22 Raptor is top of the food chain by far.... No other fighter can maneuver like it, not even close.......

eh...Nothing in the West can move like it.
F-22 is very potent, and with the stealth capability its very awesome. Combine that with well trained pilots, and its a deadly machine.
Im still a fan of the F/A-18 Super Hornet...that thing is hot!!
And thats a Navy/Marine Air Plane. It lost out to the F-16 but still became a great multi role aircraft.
The JSF F-35 should also prove to be a cool craft as well.
