Any way of tightening up the exterior door handles. they sort of bounce a bit when I hit bumps in the road and whatnot. Just one of a dozen noises that make me keep the radio turned up so I cant hear any of it.

I think there are small springs built into the door handle assembly that puts pressure against the actual handle to keep them from rattling, maybe it broke or fell off?

yea just put the window all the way up - directly behind the handle are two 12 size nuts. They are loose so just take the door panel off and tight'n them up and your good to go.

yea and dont think its fine that they are loose - i left mine loose for about a month and one day coming from the gym when to open the car and pulled my handle clean off the car. If u pull the outer handle up , you'll see there is a little plastic part that the handle attaches to, that the part u are getting tight with those two nuts - I broke that in two. Opening the door from the passanger side is no fun, trust me.

Im thinking maybe you gotta lay off the gym a bit, and maybe you would still have a door handle.

i have to open my drivers door from the passenger side everytime. my drivers door lock has a different key and i dont have it so only the passenger door and hatch unlock. and one time my drivers door didnt open and i snapped the interior handle clean in half and had to do "dukes of hazzard, knight rider style"

You know the locks are the same each side - you could swap them. You could probably get the one re-keyed by a locksmith too.

the two bolts for the handles are tight. Apparently I am missing the little spring that goes underneath the handle.
