Oh.....I've seen more than a few stock C5 Z06's go 11.9s so a mild cam, exhaust and tune would put them in the low 11s easy....well with a good driver.

You know, I thought I was gonna lock it based on posts, but I just watched it and see no race. The vette never got on it. I'm not ever sure speed limits were broken. I kind of don't understand any of it. It's a fairly unimpressive video.

An admin might lock it, that is their perrogative.

Should have taken the vid at the track then we would be able to tell. They both do a 20-30-40? mph start with the vette not noticably accelerating hard there is no possible way to make an accurate judgement off of that. The mustang did sound neat tho kinda like a ricer on crack maybe? j/k Sounded cool.

That is one thing I always liked about Mustangs...the sound. Starting with Steve McQueen's 68 right up to....that one in the video. I agree with everyone else on this post, doesn't look like the vette got into it at all.

that vid BLOWS! the vette did'nt even step on it. i think the tool in the mustang was racing himself. besides it looked slooooooooooooow. not impressed at all.

By the looks / sounds of things I don't think either of them had their foot to the floor. We can bash mustangs all day, but the fact is that a 625hp GT500 would have been flying past that other traffic if they really had their foot in it, good driver or not. Looks to me like the guy in the vette was just taking some video of it because it was obviously not a stocker....I too see no real racing here.
