Just looking for some opinions on door sill options. There arnt many options out there as it is. Im leaning towards the diamond plate only because itis exactly the same as the factory one - the only one just 3m tapes to the factory one, just seems "tacky" no pun intended. If there was a polished one like the dimond plated one with out the "diamonds" that would be perfect.

depends on the car. some cars have a polished theme going. Personally, I'd look for one that just says camaro. but out of the choices, i'd do the tape on polished one. i can't tell its taped on to the factory one.

Diamond plate doesn't go on a Camaro

Definitely NOT diamond plate. When I think diamond plate I think truck bed boxes, and bed rail's. The polished will look good, if it doenst get scratched up.

Definitely not the diamond plate one for the love of god. RK Sport used to have some nice simple ones. I just keep my stock area clean, I degrease the area every so often to keep it that way.

id get carbon fiber ones (but that would actually match my car) or u should try polished alluminum, not the tape ons

which ones are u talking about? i wish they made polished aluminum ones besides the ones i posted above - ones that were the same design as the stockers but polished.

maro - yea but then why did i pay extra to get my door jams painted when i got the car sprayed. your do see it if your looking and its the little touches that finish a car IMO

IMO thats the difference between sloppy and an extra. the car would look sloppy with unpainted door jams while it looks normal without polished sills.

try doing something to the factory ones. like paint the raised areas that gray u have on the car or the other way might look cooler. maybe cut the plastic ones off and retro fit some old school ones on. thad be pretty sic

i did find these but they are brushed not highly polished and expensive as crap for just being brushed - do u think it would be possibly to polish them up myself?

the old schools would be siick! not sure how they would fit though. maybe find some sheit one and test first. the brushed look real nice, kinda pricey, and i step on my sills all the time so i would just get pissed polishing all the time. ur call but i would prefer those brushed ones over all the rest, unless the old schools fit!
