Some of you may know but I am an Mech. Engineer working for an energy conservation company out of Mountainside, NJ. They specialize in lighting retrofitting and performance contracting of municipal, school, and other assorted large scale building projects. I signed on with the intent of helping the company offer more services through my previous knowledge of other energy conservation measures.
Long story short, those opportunities were not coming due to the hectic schedule and horrible job retention of the company. Another position came up at a much larger corporation and after much deliberation I took the new position as an Energy Engineer working out of Woodbridge. It was not the easiest decision but after working 2 years for this company, I was not about to lose any more experience and stall my career.
I could have gotten more money out of the old company but thats not the issue. The owner and managers did not take my notice too well.
