I got mine from Year One....the fit is only about an 8 of 10 but the quality of the material and board itself is very good. If you have t-tops you may see some gaps where the actual tops go but nothing major. Hardtop it shouldn't make a difference.

i got the abs headliner, sail panel and sunvisor kit from hawks and even thought I have yet to install it, the quality of materials used looks very good. I'll let you know how the fit is when I install them

Back in the day I got my headliner through Hawks, and I thought it was a quality piece.

i bought mine from classic industries, its nice, but as other have said there sometimes are issues with the cutouts not being exactly where they should be. I just really dont like the fact that, on my t-top car, the center front of the headlines is not supported by anything! its just there, no clips nothing. It doesn't move around when you drive, but if you push it it does move about 3/8 inch. They really should have put the clips on it.

Exactly the problem I have with mine. Got mine from 1A Auto. The materials are quality, but installation takes a little effort since the headliner doesn't exactly line up with the dome light or sun visor posts.

Mine is up, but like the post above, I can move it up and down by pushing on it. It's not flush with the t-top bar or upper part of the windshield.

If you had the option to do it over, would you have a shop recover your old headliner?

From what I hear its usually not worth it since the material used on your headliner is a cardboard like material that flexes, deteriorates, and even takes in water over time making it structurally weak. I would just put out for a new ABS plastic, at least that way you know it will last.

go with fiberglass

Mine completely desintegrated so it wasn't an option. The headliner litteraly fell on my head in dusty pieces as I was changing out the interior over 2 years ago.

Definately go with ABS, not fiberglass for the headliner. You need some flex installing and eventually removing the headliner. Plus the fit is usually a little off, so enlarging the holes is typical, and much easier with ABS.

No. I had mine done over and it sucked. Those backing boards just are not made for it (t-top car)

The stock thirdgen headliner boards are fiberglass, not cardboard. I recovered a hardtop myself and it worked out pretty well. I still have a t-top headliner board sitting in my garage and a roll of headliner material waiting to be put on it. You usually do have to do some spot fiberglass repair, but that's not difficult at all.

Just got my hawks kit (headliner, sail panel, sun visor)...its alright i guess...

looks like i will have to make some holes for my overhead console, as this one is only setup for a dome light.

everything else seems pretty sweet...
