S-10 with 406 SBC 11:1 TH400 Fast and cheap!

I hate to do it but I gotta sell my 1987 S-10 shortbed pick up. 406, 11:1 Edelbrock w/Holley. HEI. Cam. Mucho head work. Shorty headers. TH400 with shift kit. Star shifter. Bucket seats. American racing dragstar rims or something similar. Not perfect. Some rust some dents. Runs 12's though. Have tons of time slips from Island. Have 5K in drive line. Wanted 3K. This week, $2,000. Must go now !!!!!

out of curiosity, what rear is in it?

It's a gm 10-bolt, If I remember right it's a 3.73:1. It' open too !!!! Not sure if it was a posi at some point but if you do a burnout and heat the rear tire when you launch it will spin them both. The problem with this is massive wheel hop. I was going to put a new posi unit in it and add a set off lift bars from south side machine. It would probably run 11's if it could hook up off the line. No mater though as going 12's got me thrown off the track (Island Dragway) I used to dial in at 13.00 flat and sandbag. Tons of wins and a bunch of trophies. To be honest I didn't want it to be faster. It is SCARY on the street.
