In my 00 ws6. Its a P0200 code. It says Injector Circut Failure. Now I always thought it gave you a # like 4 or 7 for which injector it was for example P0204. But I'm lost as hell with this one. My car has the service engine light come on, than it started FLASHING and my car pretty much fell on it face(by the way in the middle of rush hour) and was idling literally at 200-300 RPM. Any ideas, or do I just change all the injectors?

The chart for P0200 says to find which cylinder is misfiring first, then test the injector harness for that cylinder (short to ground/power or open) then with a noid lamp. If the noid lamp flashes while installed on the faulty injector circuit the chart moves towards injector replacement.

Also, There are 2 fuses. One for the odd bank and the other is for the even bank. They should be labeled Inj1 and Inj2. The injectors should have voltage when the key is on and then the PCM controls the ground circuit to pulse the injectors.

your check engine light flashes when your exhaust temp is so high, damage to the catalyst can occur so engine power is cut down to a minimum. steve pretty much nailed the diagnostics, but i could get you a step by step tree if you are still having trouble...

Yea after I found it what it was, my friend came home from vacation and scanned it too. It was throwing a P0307 which is cylinder 7, so I did it right :). And the P0200 was triggered by the P0307. Maybe I should just replace all the injectors eh?

Also found out that my high flow cats dont work either LOL. Its throwing 4 cats codes too !!

cat efficiency below threshold and what not? honestly, if you are in there doing one, might as well do em all. they have all been in there the same amount of time and have seen about the same amount of operation. as far as the cats though, thats kinda beat. get oem style?

Can't remember what the codes were exactly, but they were all cat related. The cats came with my american racing longtubes. They were pretty damn small. As for the injectors I'd bet they are the stock ones. I bought it with 42k miles and its up to 71k now. So I will be changing all of them no doubt.

Light flashes for misfires

this man speaks truth.

These cars dont have an EGT sensor.

light flashes for a catalyst damaging misfire...aka raw fuel being dumped into the exhaust. Fuel inside cat = melted cat...

the light doesn't flash for any misfire, only ones that damage the cat so the engine power is reduced. but yeah thats true with the egt.
