I have a 2001 Chevy malibu that I am looking to sell. My friend gave me the car because he hit a curb with the corner of the subframe of the car and popped both air bags. Fortunatly he hit the corner of the subframe on the passenger side so even though there is a visible dent on it, the car is still very well intact underneath. The car is in very good condition and if I did not have 2 cars already, I would keep it for myself. The higher mileage is due to many trips to Virginia and back to visit the g/f at college. Here's the important information:

KBB Est. Value : $3,300.00
Asking Price Negotiable : $2,700.00

Vehicle : 2001 Chevrolet Malibu
Engine : 3100 Series / 3.1
Trans : Automatic 4T60E or 4T65E
Mileage : 165,000
Ext. Color : Tan/Beige
Int. Color : Tan/Beige
Body Condition : Very Good
Options : Power Windows/Power Locks/ABS/Cruise/DRL/AC

My friend gave me the Malibu because he already had a power steering problem, coolant loss problem, and check engine light. I was going to fix it for him, and then he skid in the rain one night and hit the curb and popped both air bags. Needless to say he could not afford to fix all of that even if i did it for him.

I checked the car out and here is what I fixed:

1. New intake manifold gasket, upper plenum gasket, thermostat, and water pump.
2. New power steering pump.\
3. I just cut the front rotors due to rust build up so the brakes work as they should.
4. The check engine light was due to an EVAP small leak code. I cleared the code and that's where I am with that.
5. I changed the steering collumn and combination switch.
6. New driver side air bag.
7. New passenger side air bag.
8. New air bag module.

As of right now the car still needs a windshield due to the passenger side air bag deploying. It is not shattered but has a pretty big crack in it. The car will also need 4 tires very soon. It is driveable with the current tires but I strongly recommend new ones or at least a pair.

Other than that the car is pretty straight and pretty clean and if you have any further questions please contact me or come check it out!
