You know, "Press '1' for English, Para Espanol marke 'dos' ahora." used to tick me off, you know what really miffs me now? "Para Espanol marke 'Uno' ahora, for english please press '2', or remain on the line." WTF!?! Now i'm sorry, i am as tolerant of other cultures as anyone but that is just plain wrong. JMHO

I wasn't paying attention, and instinctively pushed "one," which turned out to be the Mexican button...

True...If it is gonna be anything it should be straight up American, and if Mexican is needed, the button should be pushed!

My buddy, the Mumblin' Mexican, mumbles 3 languages: American, Mexican, and Italy-an. If he can come from Uaregay and learn to mumble in American, why shouldn't all the other Mexicans have to use American?

because America does NOT have an official language!

P.S. you're buddy doesn't mumble American, he mumbles English.

Look at a map, chief. We don't live in England. They speak English, we speak American.

ah the age old fight of language in america. Instead of making foreigners learn American (english) we let the minority dictate that because of FREEDOM they should be able to force everyone else to have to deal with their inabilities.

Welcome to the pussification of our country. Kids are pussified and grow up to be adults that are pussified. No one loses any more in little league they play for fun so everyone is a winner. Sorry that's not life, learn to play harder and you'll win. Everything they do is GREAT. Here mommy look at what I drew for you, no it's not a house it's a computer, oh billy you're an amazing artist.

People are so afraid of offending people as soon as some J/O complains they back down and remove offensive material i.e. a christmas tree. Ya know what you don't like it tough SHEIT go someplace else.

I hate people that get away with this crap and as a society we let them so we have no one to blame but ourselves. STOP THIS PLANET I WANT TO GET OFF.

haha, I guess the whole language thing is a sore spot for a lot of people. I dont like the fact that immigrants dont learn the "accepted" language of the united states, but there isnt much you can do about it now is there?

and lets get back to the origianl point of this thread. Bob, why did you push the button for spanish?
