you know the shifter knobs with the push button start in them? do you know if that could be wired up to a firebird? haha..i know stupid question but i like the idea.

Sure it could, any push button switch could be wired into your shifter.
Problem is...finding a shifter out of an $400k SLR that has the push button start in the shifter.
You have a better chance of finding a S2000's push button start and just put it in your dash where you can reach it.

i just was curious. i saw it and thought it was cool and itd be alot different..many ppl now have the s2000 push button and its kinda outplayed now..atleast thats the way i see it.

I guess turning a key is really outplayed now then...
Rig up a finger print scanner, that would be different.

ummmm Al...those Keyless Go shifter comes in E classes and CLK too...they're much easier to find. They don't have the cover like in the SLR...but the button is there.

couldn't you just pay 20 bucks for a shifter with a button and wire it how you want?
