Where is the porportioning valve located on LS1 cars?

Friend of mine swaped his V6 drum brake rear for a disc rear out of a LS1 car and complains of a soft brake pedal even after plenty of bleeding and fresh fluid. Im telling him that the proportioning valve may have to be changed.

Any other suggestions? Master?

ABS unit, I think. IIRC 2 lines from MC to ABS unit, 4 lines out of ABS unit.

I have seen cars where the ABS was removed and they just t'd the lines from MC to wheels. I do not remember if they put an adjustable valve in.

Bleed it more.

He doesn't need to change the valve. Same one from v6 to v8, disc to drum.

All I'm saying is when I swapped rears the first time, I looked it up and the part numbers were the same. Then again they coulda changed it from lt1 to ls1 i suppose.
