I see two different kinds of intake runner gaskets for my 350 one has a blue seal around the intake and water ports. And one does not have the blue seal.

I assume that if I order the ones without that blue seal I use permatex and if I order the ones with the blue seal i install them dry?

I have used the regular (non blue seal) ones in the past and permatexed both sides.

If I get the blue stripe ones do I install them with the blue bead facing the manifold and only permatex the head side???

Anyone know?

When engine (year) and heads do you have?

The 1244 and for Vortec heads, the 1255 are for Brodix.

I use the felpro with the seal, (the seal is on both sides). Even when they comes with the end seals I don't use them. I RTV the ends, I never liked the rubber end seals, they always seem to leak. Just make sure when you put on the RTV you overlap the intake gaskets a small bit and put a bead down where the head/block meet.

i was just showing those gaskets as reference, I have the blue streak gasket set for my engine but they only have the blue on one side. I always toss out those lifter gally seals and use the cheese-wiz permatex from intake runner to intake runner before applying the gaskets. I may return these and just get the regular ones cause im a moron and having a hard time figuring this out
